3121:The Jams DVD (fan made)

I just got this fan made DVD recently, & it is indeed the jam.Not enough superaltives to describe it, just get it if you can.Very clever introductory menu that is just as good a job as the professionally made ones, so hats off to the creator of this disc.

The contents is basically all of the 2006 TV performances from SNL to the BET Awards plus all four promos from 3121 including both versions of Fury. There's also some audience shot footage of the GMA appearance in New York City which includes a short snippet of the soundcheck. Prince seems to be on hiatus at the moment so this should tide Prince fans over till his next gig, whenever that happens.

September Update Pt.2

Just a couple things to add:

Belly-1993 Live on Chicago TV + interview with Tanya Donelly. This is really nice since Leslie Langston is playing bass, so you got half of Throwing Muses in the band. She left the band after this gig & I've heard she's a social worker these days.

Punks & Poseurs-L.A. Underground-MTV Concert-I recorded this on VCR back in 1985! The original HC/Punk scene was in it's waning moments, luckily MTV decided to exploit it by broadcasting this concert.Still, some cool footage by the likes of The Dickies,Plain Wrap,Breakouts,Raw Power(yay!) from Italy, & G.B.H. from the U.K..Video quality is decent, but the audio didn't survive that well over the years, so I'll give it a 2 out of 5 for quality.

edit:

Spandau Ballet-1981 Madrid-Spain TV-Originally broadcast in 1983 on La Ead De Oro, rebroadcast last August.Just seven songs but includes interview.
